It's our annual interfaith Seder!
Join us on Sunday, March 22, 2009, at 4:00pm, St Raymond's Church,in the Community Room, 300 S. Elmhurst Ave, Mt Prospect.

This is a wonderful opportunity for you to talk to other interfaith couples in a relaxed atmosphere. We'll enjoy one of the most important Jewish holidays with friends and our interfaith community. You'll have a chance to ask questions, share ideas and recipes before Passover is actually here ( in April).

We request $12.50 per adult to cover the costs of this celebration, which can be paid at the event. Children are welcome to attend at no cost.

Please bring a potluck dish that is appropriate for Passover. (No bread products, flour, leavening, rice, corn or beans.) Do you make a great kugel? A yummy flourless chocolate cake? Or would buying a couple boxes of matzah be easier for you? We can use it all. Our main dish of lamb will be prepared by a caterer, it is always delicious!

Please RSVP to Carrie Landsman by Weds, March 18, (708) 383-1071 or email clb1019@gmail.com. Please include the # adults & children attending

Family School Information
The Family School is a community of Jewish and Catholic couples providing a religious school to convey to our children the stories, traditions, rituals and values of both Judaism and Catholic Christianity. Together, we explore with our children the common moral code and shared heritage of our two faiths. The Family School was featured in a recent Chicago Tribune article that can be found here: Chicago Tribune

Kindergartners must be five years old before December 31 of the current school year to be admitted. We teach classes beginning at the Kindergarten level through 8th grade. There are openings for children in all grade levels. Please contact Chris Kopka at 847-279-3979 or email crkopka@kopjalawcom to learn more about the Family School.
